Aginode cabling systems selected for Eastern General Hospital (EGH) Campus

Enabling Honeywell’s Smart Healthcare Solutions Integration

Singapore — Located in Bedok in Singapore’s eastern region, the Eastern General Hospital (EGH) Campus is one of the country’s next-generation healthcare developments. Designed as a Smart Hospital, the campus leverages digital innovation and intelligent infrastructure to enhance patient care, strengthen operational resilience, and future-proof healthcare delivery.

The Smart Hospital Roadmap, unveiled by Senior Minister of State for Digital Development and Information, and Health, Mr. Tan Kiat How, is built around three key pillars: Smart Care, Smart Operations, and Smart Infrastructure.

Honeywell: The Smart Healthcare Solutions Integration Specialist

As the lead solution integrator for the Smart Hospital implementation, Honeywell Technologies is delivering a comprehensive suite of intelligent building technologies across multiple IP-based systems, integrating Building Management, Telecommunications, Nurse Call, Intercom, Public Address, and other systems; undertaking the Central Role in integration and project management, unifying multiple mission-critical systems into a single, intelligent, operationally resilient hospital environment.

Aginode: The High Performance Cabling & Digital Infrastructure Highway

Aginode is proud to have been selected to provide high-performance cabling systems to Honeywell Technology, helping build the digital infrastructure that supports the development of this smart healthcare environment.

Our LANmark-CU and LANmark-OF cabling solutions serve as the digital highways connecting the various mission-critical healthcare systems and supporting the hospital’s Smart Infrastructure. This enables Honeywell’s integrated systems to communicate, operate, and scale as one connected environment.

The deployment includes:

• More than 40,000 Cat6A network outlets, utilising LANmark-6A F/FTP and EVO2 Snap-In connectivity.
• More than 200 km of LANmark-OF OS2 fiber-optic cabling, supporting the campus-wide Smart Infrastructure.

The installation is being undertaken by Aginode’s Certified Solution Partner (CSP), Equation Technology & Cabling.

Construction of the EGH Campus commenced in August 2025, with the main hospital campus expected to progressively open from 2029.

When completed, the EGH Campus will house two hospitals — Eastern General Hospital and Eastern Community Hospital — together providing 1,400 beds within a nine-storey integrated smart healthcare facility serving residents in Singapore’s eastern region.

Aginode’s LANmark-CU and LANmark-OF solutions were deployed also at other major Public Hospital Campus projects in Singapore over the years, that include the National Heart Centre (2012), NTFGH General Hospital (2014), Sengkang General Hospital (2015), the ICH at TTSH (2017), National Cancer Centre (2018), Woodlands General Hospital (2020), and the SGH ECC (Elective Care and National Dental Centre) at Singapore General Hospital Campus (2024–construction on-going).
