Aginode EXTP: extended reach Ethernet over copper
Aginode's EXTP (Extended Twisted Pair) solution is designed to overcome the traditional 100-meter limit of copper Ethernet cabling, enabling reliable long-distance connectivity for smart campuses, industrial facilities, airports, and large buildings.
By combining larger 22 AWG conductors with a patented shielded cable design, EXTP supports up to 160 meters for 1 Gbps Ethernet and high-power PoE++, while maintaining Cat 6A compliance and strong protection against electromagnetic interference. This allows network designers to eliminate intermediate telecom rooms, media converters, and additional infrastructure, reducing both installation and maintenance costs.
