Aginode supports new next-gen semiconductor fab in China

Runpeng Semiconductor, a subsidiary of China Resources Microelectronics, has officially commissioned its new 12-inch (300mm) power semiconductor production line in Shenzhen, China.

This milestone represents a RMB 22 billion (2.86€ billion) investment into next-generation semiconductor manufacturing, with a total construction area of ~238,000 m² and a planned annual output of 480,000 wafers. The fab will serve high-growth sectors including electric vehicles, renewable energy, rail transit, smart grids, and Radio Frequency communications.
