FLOORDROP Splitter is designed for effortless TAP deployment in MDU environments, whether installed inside the building or mounted on the façade. With its pre‑integrated passive optical components, this version of FLOORDROP serves as one of the two essential building blocks in a standard TAP architecture. Inside each unit, the optical splitter is positioned for tool‑free access, eliminating the need to open the enclosure or perform any splicing. This terminal is the end of the TAP chain and can be activated using pre‑connectorized jumpers direclty on its 9 ports patch panel, or by connecting the optional pre‑installed fiber tail.

lt accommodates up to 10 SC/APC adapters (9 adapters for the Splitter version). For improved accessibility, the adapters can be slightly tilted upward. The enclosure is suitable for both indoor and outdoor environments and complies with IP65 protection standards.
lts port capacity makes it ideal for plug-and-play deployments, especially in TAP-based rollouts requiring fast and seamless installation. The demarcation between Access Network and Subscribers is made by means of 2 differentiated areas that can be secured independently.
