Application
The LANmark Industry DIN-Rail mount is designed to enable the installation of LANmark Snap-In data connectors in industrial cabinets fitted with a 35mm DIN-Rail.
Several DIN-Rail mounts can be joined together to form a row.
The LANmark-6A ULTIM connector supports all data applications defined for Category 6A, such as:
- 10baseT
- Fast Ethernet
- Gigabit Ethernet
- 10 Gigabit Ethernet
- Industrial Ethernet
Performance
The LANmark-6A ULTIM Snap-in connector is manufactured and tested to the latest International, American and European cabling standards and is designed to meet or exceed the stringent quality and performance criteria needed to support all applications up to 500 MHz, including 10 Gigabit Ethernet. It accepts both solid and stranded copper conductors, with wire sizes from AWG26 to AWG22, supporting all relevant cable types.
1.27 micron (50 microinch) gold plated front contacts offer superior mechanical durability, ensuring at least 2500 plug insertion cycles and supporting Power over Ethernet transmission up to 90W without degrading effect.
A full metal die-cast housing offers the LANmark ULTIM connector immunity against Alien Crosstalk and Electromagnetic Interferences.
Installation
The ULTIM connector is a one-piece design, with a wire organiser as sole accessory, guaranteeing infallible management of the twisted pairs.
Simply closing the connector top and bottom covers ensure fast and effortless IDC termination without the need for any tools.
The installation finishes with laying the cable drain wire in its place and fastening the cable clamp to establish the earthing and bonding.
The DIN-Rail Mount is fitted with an earth tag for termination of the cable drain wire / shield to provide bonding to the DIN-Rail. Please see the installation guide.
A set of covers for both sides of the module is also available (N20i.002).
