Application

Optical Terminal Outlets (OTOs) are used in the context of FTTH for collective housing or residential housing.
Mounted on the customer's premises on a DIN rail in a communication device or on a wall (possibly on a flush-mounted box) in a room or outbuilding of the dwelling room or outbuilding.
The OTO can be used as a DTIO and is then a termination point for the operator's access network.

Functional characteristics

The OTO can be fitted with a pre-connected L1080, L1081, L1082, L1083, L1087 or L1088 drop cable from either side or from the rear or with field connectors. Equipped with a splicing support and coiling zone, this outlets allows fibre-to-fibre connection to a pre-installed pigtail.

Supplied with a multi-support plate, the outlet can be mounted on the wall, on a flush-mounted box, on a DIN rail and on most of the electrical equipment mounting supports on the market.

The optical cable is located at the bottom of the OTO with an internal or external shutter that ensures protection against laser emission and dust.

• A multi-support plate to secure the outlet
• A pre-installed SC adapter
• A pre-installed coloured SC/APC pigtail
