FLOORDROP TAP & Splitter is designed for effortless TAP deployment in MDU environments, whether installed inside the building or mounted on the façade. With its pre‑integrated passive optical components, this version of FLOORDROP serves as one of the two essential building blocks in a standard TAP architecture. Inside each unit, two optical elements (a TAP and a splitter) are positioned for tool‑free access, eliminating the need to open the enclosure or perform any splicing. The TAP chain can be extended either by activating each box using pre‑connectorized jumpers direclty on its 10 ports patch panel, or by connecting the optional pre‑installed fiber tail.
