LANmark Overhead Patching Frame 4U

Application

The LANmark Overhead Patching frame has been designed to host copper and fibre patch panels. As defined by the standard it can be used as Local Distribtion Point. Expensive rack space can be saved in active equipment racks by installing  passive patch panels outside the racks.  The overhead position is usually preffered. This contributes to the increase of cabling density per square metre. It is an open frame thus giving outsanding access to the patch panels. The versatile brackets enable fixation on numerous types of trays.

Performance

The LANmark Overhead Patching frame can be fitted with up to 3 patch cords management hooks (N345.401) on both sides. An extra 1U cable guide can be added horizontally under the frame. These accessories hold and guide the patch cords droping into the rack below.

The frame and brackets are made of galvanised steel, grey natural colour.

Installation

The LANmark Overhead Patching frame is fitted with brackets enabling vertical installation under, along and over cable trays. The frame can be angled to 20° by using the angled side of these brackets. This would ease readability of patch panel labels.

Installing the LANmark Overhead Patching frame is very easy. The brackets must be mounted first. The frame can then easily be attached and adjusted.

The weight of the frame (empty) and mounting brackets is 2,5kg. Please pay attention to the weight of the equipment  that will be installed in the frame. The total weight shall be compliant to the maximum load of the tray to which the frame is attached.

Remark: The maximum weight load of the cable tray to which the frame will be fixed must be respected.

When the patch cords management hooks are mounted on both sides of the overhead patching frame, the total width is : 525mm + 2x68mm = 661mm
