Design and application

The LANmark Maritime & Industry panel is developed to be installed in harsh environments, such as on-board ships or in industrial areas.
Due to its stainless-steel construction and black finish, this panel is sturdy, durable and corrosion resistant, whilst offering a smooth appearance.
The panel is designed to accommodate all LANmark Snap-In connectors. For maritime environments, however, it is highly recommended to use only LANmark-6A ULTIM or GG45 Maritime connectors, which offer corrosion resistance.

Installation

Bonding of the screened connectors happens automatically through the mass contact clip, which is also manufactured from stainless-steel.
The earth connection of the panel is established through the unpainted zones on the panel edges in contact with the metal rack frame. In case the frames are painted, bonding can be established with the self-tapping screw supplied with the panel.
White 1 to 24 printed numbering offers clear port labelling and shutters prevent unpatched connectors from dust and dirt entry. The black shutters are removable and can be replaced with a coloured version for distinction between applications or identification of specific services. (8 colours available under part number series N421.701xxx).
The panel features cable management at the rear with cable-tie slots to facilitate strain relief. A bag of 25 cable ties is included with every panel.
