LANmark-6A UTP Keystone Connector

Application

The LANmark-6A unscreened keystone connector has been designed to support the higher frequencies required for 10 Gigabit Ethernet, whilst maintaining full backwards compatibility with lower speed applications.

The connector is manufactured and tested to the latest Category 6A specifications of the European, International and American standards and meets the quality and performance criteria needed to support all applications up to 500 MHz.

Design

Aginode LANmark-6A unscreened connector features a noise immunity rear cover which ensures the stringent internal and Alien Crosstalk requirements for Category 6A are met.

The connector format is designed to perfectly match Aginode staggered keystone patch panel (N521.6671BK) and keystone outlet modules (available in a variety of UK, EU and US styles), whilst offering compatibility with keystone format structural hardware available in the marketplace. (Please check compatibility with Aginode before using 3rd party structural hardware)

The connector accepts all Category 6A unshielded cables with solid wire from 26 to 23 AWG but is designed to be used with LANmark-6A UTP horizontal cable for optimum performance.

Performance

With guaranteed performance to 500 MHz, Aginode LANmark-6A unscreened keystone connector meets the requirements of the International, European and American connector and cabling standards for Category 6A as specified in IEC 60603-7-41, EN 50173-1 and TIA568.2-D.

Systems built with LANmark-6A UTP connectors and cable, in conjunction with the LANmark staggered patch panel and using LANmark-10G patch cords (including for Cross Connects and Consolidation Points), support 10GBase-T applications as defined in IEEE802.3an and meet the link and channel requirements for Category 6A and Class EA as specified in TIA/EIA 568.2-D and ISO/IEC 11801 including all alien crosstalk related parameters.

Installation

The LANmark-6A UTP connector allows straightforward and reliable installation without the need for a special tool. Detailed installation instructions are supplied with every box of 24 connectors.

Guarantees

Installations with LANmark-6A UTP cable and connectivity qualify for a 25 year Class EA Channel warranty when used in combination with LANmark-10G patch cords and staggered patch panels.
